The graduate thesis by Luís Afonso Ferreira (1946), which has never been published under book form, is a groundbreaking work in the bibliography on the major literary piece by infante D. Pedro (1392-1449) and as such an important contribution for a solid knowledge of late medieval Portuguese literature. The aim of this edition is to offer a digitization of Ferreira’s personal copy of his thesis with the transcription and interpretation of his marginalia. Volume I has already been digitized and its annotations (more abundant than in volume II) have been transcribed.
