Description:
This project follows the work undertaken with "Linguistics Resources for the Study of the African Varieties of Portuguese" (from which resulted a corpus and a lexicon of the 5 african varieties of portuguese) and it's main goal is to give to the teachers of Portuguese organized materials on the specific facts that characterize the African varieties of Portuguese. This will enable the recognition of the linguistic diversity of the Portuguese used by the PALOP students and a better understanding of the differences found in their oral and written productions relatively to the European Portuguese norm. The main topics to study are morphology, morfosyntax and syntax.
